Youth Day 2013 Teachings

TACC Youth Day Service 16 June 2013

Venue: Queenstown TACC Hall

Province: Eastern Cape

Youth across South Africa converged on various provinces to honour June 16, which is a day of commemorating the brutal killing of South African youth, especially students, who were fighting for the use of Bantu languages at schools in South Africa during the apartheid regime.

As the whole South Africa honours this day every year, the TACC President and Chief Apostle decided to use this day as a sports day, when TACC youth take part in all sports codes. On the Sunday following, the provinces and regions would hold formal services that are conducted by the youth.  Last year, he sponsored the event where winners would win soccer kits and cash reward.

That on its own was an indication of the love he has for this event, working hand in glove with government in partnership for youth development in the country. It was the case again this year when the President went to Queenstown to honour this day with new Apostles that were recently born in Eastern Cape as well as other Apostles of the province. It was a wonderful service indeed, as He opened the service and made a summery teachings and after that handed of over to the youth to conduct the service. Apostle Don made the closing summary.

As usual, whenever the President teaches, He spits fire, He didn’t disappoint this time as his teachings were more based on warning youth on how they should behave and not compare themselves with their leaders when they are told not to live certain style of life. Some of his teachings were as follows:

God is life and love. We have a perception that God is love and peace. The reason why we confirm this perception as correct is that, when you think of God, you have to put the bible aside. When we think of God, we don’t think about dogs but man. So we don’t have a doubt that a man can create because all the good and bad things are done by man. So we take this perception that God is an old man. We take the perception of Zulus that say “God is a first person that appeared”. Zulus say “Umvelingqanga”.

If you have too many wives, you always have a problem to make them all happy. You must understand that God will be pleased with you if you make people to be on good terms and to be happy. When we say God is love, then you will see that the need of God in the world is one. If therefore God is love, the bible says God created man in His own image.

The bible says God had a problem as He saw Himself from what He created that the man was moving all over the Eden. He became worried because this man was moving all over the place with nothing to do but wander about. He forgot that He was the one who created something that is like Him. So, in other words, God created His image which depicts Him as a person who goes all over with no place to dwell that is stationed in one place. The indication that God is wandering about, whenever you talk about His name, He is there already. Therefore, it’s what He gave birth unto.

This perturbed Him as He knew not that He was such a curious man who goes all over the place. Now He made a plan that He should create another partner so that Adam could not go around. It is normal that once you have a person you love, you will never move around. It is clear now the human being is love. You are not created to hate, but you are taken from the spirit of love. If you capture a character of hatred, then you don’t become happy because you are not what you are doing. Instead, you feel painful but the one you hate will be happy.

The person that hates has challenge of living a happy life. Once a person you hate appears, you frown. When the person that loves appears, his face looks nice in the eyes of people. He, who dwells in love, dwells in God. If you fight in your house with children and your wife, then you fight against God as He runs away from that house.

The worshipers of God are seen by a man who sacrifices his money to gain his wife. When the love is there, he takes the money and give it to the person he loves. When the love is gone, the money disappears. The worshipers of devil are in Apostolic Churches same as those who are worshiping God. They all wear blue and white and nice blue suits. Jesus’ congregation was made up of Pharisees and Sadducees. That means this congregation was problematic.

When Jesus got his Apostles, he was not followed by Christians but Jesuits. But only one man had Christ, it was Peter. They later on became Christians except Judas. Judas would always complaint about money given to one man. He complained about the holy oil that was given to Jesus only.

When you love your brother, you like everyone that gives him money. Artificial Church vs. Original Church today’s sermon is original not artificial. When you have an artificial church, you hate other churches. You can’t build the church if you have spirit that is not artificial as you will love everyone. Hence God said, “I shall bless my people with peace.”

If you accept peace, you invite Satan to follow you for he doesn’t like peace. So expect challenges. But I’m sure we will defeat him with peace. He makes you to have anger and then shows everyone that you have anger but you are an Apostle. When you have love, it is given that there will be peace. Where there is peace, there is love. You can’t have one and not the other.  He who hates his brethren is in the darkness. He, who has love, has God. Why He? It means amongst you, there are those who hate themselves.

The word of God witnesses against the word not the other way round. If you talk about nature, you talk about bible. Problems that we are facings are people who want to marry but marry criminals. What happens next, there will be a visitor called Satan and he will say, separate. The second visitor comes and says, no, this was wrong in the first instance. What life will you live without being happy. The third visitor will say this partner doesn’t need you for it was not loved by even your parents. Which visitor do you think will win from the three? The visitor that will win here will be the one that says let there be separation. It is natural that you should run away when you are inflicted with pains. Hence you opt for divorce.

Paul says you run away from a devil. Maybe even God can say you must separate. He once said to Hosea, “I will give you a wife and this wife will give birth for you and for other men. Hence there is a song that says God is unpredictable. (Thixo akunangqaleko. Thixo awuna ngqibeko). God would say what the devil would say the old people would ask you to keep the child though he is not yours. The child would grow in this same house and others would also grow without homes. God said to Hosea, at least I will release you later after all this. In other words, God can release you after His purpose is finished.

There are men that are left by their wives or the other way round. We expect you when you leave your wife to make sure that it is of the will of God not yours. So you don’t have right to run away. It is the man that wanted this wife not a woman. So you don’t run after you wanted wife. It is the same as in the case of the wife. She can’t run for she never invited herself on this marriage.

We grew up knowing that a man becomes a hero and popular for having many affairs. Then the one who would only have one woman would be called “out of fashion”. This is what we used to do in African culture when we were growing. In these days, we look at you as a best hero when you have one wife. The problem now is to keep many wives. You are fortunate to be brought up in this period but the old people of my period would think you are a fool.  Don’t date too many partners. If you practice to love too many partners while you are removed from that, you become cursed. You love lots of people and now they come during your marriage as they also needed you to take them to be part of your wives. They have evidence of people you slept with. Then after the marriage, they come back to attract you, when you fall, they will all laugh at you as a failure.

Don’t enter to confusion that we ended up on when we were young. We have our own confusion that we don’t even want our children to enter into. All parents have imaginations of things they would not love their children to do. Listen to the word and not compare what others went through. The parent will not want you to learn his mistakes.

People you have testified remain such until they are used by the spirit given to them. They must be used by the Holy Spirit. That is why there are people who still have anger and like fights etc. although they are already in the church. They are not used by the Spirit. If you are used by the Spirit, you don’t get hurt. A man that has a problem with his wife, he ill-treats people at work. A person who doesn’t have peace with the Holy Spirit hates everyone. There are no evil people in church but the person who is not in peace will see evil people in the church .Don’t see people in white and blue and think they are brothers. They are wolves in sheep skin.

When a person has not yet reached a stage of accepting spirit, he can’t be used by the Holy Spirit. There is something unique about TACC it’s the church to lead. There is no one who is a follower. It’s a leader that is able to follow. When you see people leading, you would think they are leaders not knowing they are followers. If you want to be followed, you must also follow. We have Holy Spirit in our church to lead you. When you are new, we teach you to be led by Spirit. Then once you understand how to be led by the Spirit, you will be left there to work for God. All people that you call in church are led by you. The fact is that you will lead them. We are not teachers, but we have accepted the Spirit in us to teach us.

Closure!!
