Summary of Sermon on 16 December, 2012, part 4Belief and Faith Sermon, Part 4 The Chief apostle closed his teachings with a parable. To test Solomon and be certain that he still had his wisdom, God took 2 flowers, the one was artificial but identical to the other which was from the earth. Solomon was asked to determine which was the real flower. There can be 2 officers in the Church, both anointed by the same Apostle but the one is from the devil, the other form God. The one teaches hatred and anger, the other teaches love and grace. Solomon prayed to God to show him the correct flower. God sent a bee to identify it for Solomon. It ignored the artificial flower and went straight to the flower from the soil of the ground. There is a brother who will come and give you direction and you will not listen to him because you do not wish to be advised by a Brother or a Sister. If you send a Sister to this officer, he will complain that you are undermining him by sending sisters to give him a message. The bee went to Solomon even though it is a tiny insect ignored by everybody. Nevertheless, it harvests honey which everybody likes. There are people who think that they have the right to say anything to the members of the Church because they think that they are all useless. There are people who build houses with money from the congregation. They do not ask whether the money was form a brother or a sister, but just take it. When they are in the Pulpit, they shout at the congregation. If you are an officer who shouts at your congregation, you are an officer made by the hands of man and the members will never stay in you because of the things that you say or do and they will see no love of God in you. The artificial plant or flower shines forever, that from the soil responds to the wind and sun. When a mother gives birth, there are pains but there is something that is the life which she has carried. Likewise, when you bring people to the Church, you do not just have the pains of your experiences but you also speak of those things which will bring peace, love and mercy to those whom you lead. Faith attracts. When you have faith, people come to you, you respect them and they respect you. Where you find thorns, you win them by forgiving them. Faith unites us with the mind of God. It brings God within God for you cannot make God happy if you do not have faith. Do you think that you have faith? You cannot see a problem if you cannot see it. The way in which the devil keeps people attached to him makes them blind to the fact that they are kept by him Let us learn not to speak of things that will destroy the children in front of the children. Be honest with yourself: if you do not have faith you do not have it but strive to find it rather that to say that you have faith even though you know that you do not. Amen.
